Marsannay is the latest AOC Burgundy (1987) and was promoted to the rank of communal appellation. It belongs to the prestigious vineyards of the Côte de Nuits which it opens the doors to the immediate south of Dijon. Its area is 130 hectares and has the particularity of having a tri-color production.
The vines that produce this wine grow on a dark brown soil, covered with a thin layer of silt and fine clays, directly installed on the mother rock.
This wine will suit perfectly cold starters (around vegetables, terrines, fresh goats) and a white meat (poultry, veal, sweetbreads).
